Electrical Engineer Product Assurance

What do we expect from you?

  • Degree in Elec­tri­cal Engi­neer­ing or a com­pa­ra­ble field
  • Min­i­mum one year of rel­e­vant pro­fes­sion­al expe­ri­ence as Elec­tri­cal Engi­neer or PA Engi­neer, in the field of aero­space, auto­mo­tive or med­ical tech­nol­o­gy.
  • Exten­sive knowl­edge and expe­ri­ence in elec­tron­ics man­u­fac­tur­ing, prefer­ably for space appli­ca­tions
  • Expe­ri­ence in Product/Quality Assur­ance is an asset
  • Expe­ri­ence with ESA stan­dards (ECSS) would be favourable
  • A struc­tured and respon­si­ble approach to work and a high lev­el of qual­i­ty aware­ness
  • Good com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills
  • At least inter­me­di­ate pro­fi­cien­cy in writ­ten and spo­ken Eng­lish and Ger­man

What are your responsibilities?

  • Imple­men­ta­tion of Prod­uct Assur­ance (PA) project require­ments and prepa­ra­tion of rel­e­vant doc­u­men­ta­tion
  • Sup­port­ing projects teams in the areas of EEE com­po­nents and mate­ri­als & process­es; man­age­ment of respec­tive lists (e.g. DCL, DML, DPL)
  • Review of development/engineering/manufacturing/test doc­u­men­ta­tion with respect to PA require­ments; sup­port for test and ver­i­fi­ca­tion activ­i­ties
  • Per­form­ing inspec­tions for elec­tron­ic assem­blies as well as gen­er­al Qual­i­ty Assur­ance inspec­tions
  • Sup­port for and par­tic­i­pa­tion in design reviews
  • Man­age­ment of Non-Con­for­mances
