Project Manager [PRJ]

DSI Aerospace GmbH develops innovative hardware and FPGA/software solutions and computer technologies for space applications. Our products are flying as part of prominent space programs such as JUICE (Jupiter mission), Gateway (lunar space station) and Copernicus (Earth observation program). Since 1997, our steadily-growing international team has been producing high-performance, customer-specific and dependable solutions.

We are looking for skilled and motivated colleagues who are passionate about managing leading European satellite missions.

What do we expect from you?

  • Degree in Com­put­er Sci­ence, Com­put­er Engi­neer­ing, Elec­tron­ics or a com­pa­ra­ble field
  • At least 5 years of rel­e­vant pro­fes­sion­al expe­ri­ence in the space indus­try
  • Expe­ri­ence in project man­age­ment as well as work­ing in teams
  • Abil­i­ty to be proac­tive, to work towards tight dead­lines and to pri­or­i­tize work­load accord­ing­ly 
  • Sys­tem­at­ic work­ing capa­bil­i­ties and com­pe­tence in orga­ni­za­tion of your project- team
  • Excel­lent com­mu­ni­ca­tion and ana­lyt­i­cal skills
  • High lev­el of writ­ten Eng­lish and flu­en­cy in spo­ken Eng­lish
  • Ide­al­ly basic writ­ten and ver­bal abil­i­ty in Ger­man

What are your responsibilities?

  • You are respon­si­ble for plan­ning and man­ag­ing the project activ­i­ties (on-time, on-qual­i­ty, on-cost)
  • You will lead a multi­na­tion­al team of engi­neers work­ing on inter­na­tion­al projects
  • You and your team are in charge of the project dur­ing the entire project life-cycle from the ini­tial sales sup­port to the final deliv­ery to the cus­tomer
  • You will be the main focal point for the cus­tomer and sub-con­trac­tors as well as sup­pli­ers
  • Togeth­er with our sys­tem engi­neers, you are respon­si­ble for the tech­ni­cal man­age­ment of the project team
