What do we expect from you?
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics or a comparable field
- Basic understanding of digital design concepts
- Basic understanding of object-oriented programming techniques
- A basic level of knowledge in VHDL (preferred) / Verilog
- Familiarity with FPGA development tools (e.g., Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus) is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Eagerness to learn FPGA design and verification methodologies.
- A structured, independent and responsible approach to work and a high level of quality awareness
- Familiarity with the use of version control software
- Ability to see how your work fits into a larger project and product and readiness to work with colleagues to achieve its integration
- High level of written English and at least basic fluency in spoken English
- Ideally basic written and verbal ability in German
What are your responsibilities?
- Assist in FPGA design, development, and testing under supervision.
- Perform basic design entry, simulation, and debugging tasks.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to verify FPGA modules and document processes.
- Learn and implement FPGA design best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Detailed documentation of FPGA development cycles according to ECSS-Q-ST-60 standard
