What do we expect from you?

  • Com­plet­ed degree in Com­put­er Sci­ence, Com­put­er Engi­neer­ing, Elec­tron­ics or a com­pa­ra­ble field
  • Basic under­stand­ing of dig­i­tal design con­cepts
  • Basic under­stand­ing of object-ori­ent­ed pro­gram­ming tech­niques
  • A basic lev­el of knowl­edge in VHDL (pre­ferred) / Ver­ilog
  • Famil­iar­i­ty with FPGA devel­op­ment tools (e.g., Xil­inx Viva­do, Intel Quar­tus) is an advan­tage but not manda­to­ry.
  • Eager­ness to learn FPGA design and ver­i­fi­ca­tion method­olo­gies.
  • A struc­tured, inde­pen­dent and respon­si­ble approach to work and a high lev­el of qual­i­ty aware­ness
  • Famil­iar­i­ty with the use of ver­sion con­trol soft­ware
  • Abil­i­ty to see how your work fits into a larg­er project and prod­uct and readi­ness to work with col­leagues to achieve its inte­gra­tion
  • High lev­el of writ­ten Eng­lish and at least basic flu­en­cy in spo­ken Eng­lish
  • Ide­al­ly basic writ­ten and ver­bal abil­i­ty in Ger­man

What are your responsibilities?

  • Assist in FPGA design, devel­op­ment, and test­ing under super­vi­sion.
  • Per­form basic design entry, sim­u­la­tion, and debug­ging tasks.
  • Col­lab­o­rate with senior engi­neers to ver­i­fy FPGA mod­ules and doc­u­ment process­es.
  • Learn and imple­ment FPGA design best prac­tices.
  • Par­tic­i­pate in code reviews and con­tribute to con­tin­u­ous improve­ment.
  • Detailed doc­u­men­ta­tion of FPGA devel­op­ment cycles accord­ing to ECSS-Q-ST-60 stan­dard
