What do we expect from you?
- Completed university degree or completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in the layout of high-speed designs using Altium Designer
- Knowledge in the field of ECSS design (standards and guidelines for space electronics)
- Solid knowledge in the field of EMC and impedance-controlled design
- Good knowledge of common PCB materials and manufacturing technologies
- As a plus: Usage of HyperLynx SI and PI and other simulation tools and experience with schematic design
What are your responsibilities?
- Implementation of complex high-speed designs with up to 20 layers using Altium Designer, including digital electronics such as:
- Programmable logics and processors, like Versal or RT4G FPGAs and CPUs
- Memories, like DDR, SRAM, MRAM and Flash
- Design of the power tree (power distribution topology) within the assembly
- Ensuring EMC- and impedance-controlled designs in the layout
- Creation and coordination of layout concepts for demanding, highly integrated assemblies
- Coordination with the manufacturing partner as well as complete handling of the PCB order
- Extension and maintenance of the Altium component database
- Optional: Contribution to the creation of schematics
