Hardware Engineer - Analog / Power [PRJ]

DSI Aerospace GmbH develops innovative hardware and software solutions and computer technologies for space applications. Our products are flying as part of prominent space programs such as JUICE (Jupiter mission), Gateway (lunar space station) and Copernicus (Earth observation program). Since 1997, our steadily-growing international team has been producing high-performance, customer-specific and dependable solutions.

We are looking for skilled and motivated colleagues who are passionate about developing high-quality and elegant hardware engineering solutions for the leading European satellite missions.

What do we expect from you?

  • Uni­ver­si­ty degree in Elec­tri­cal Engi­neer­ing, Aero­space Engi­neer­ing, Com­put­er Sceince or a com­pa­ra­ble qual­i­fi­ca­tion
  • At least 5 years of pro­fes­sion­al expe­ri­ence in the field of cir­cuit design, ide­al­ly in the aero­space sec­tor
  • Strong exper­tise in cir­cuit design, expe­ri­ence with PCB design is a plus
  • High lev­el of enthu­si­asm, ini­tia­tive and strong team spir­it and the abli­ty to col­lab­o­rate effec­tive­ly in large-scale projects
  • Resilience, con­fi­dence and the abil­i­ty to work inde­pen­dent­ly
  • Very good ver­bal and writ­ten com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills in Eng­lish and prefer­ably also in Ger­man

What are your responsibilities?

  • Devel­op­ment of dig­i­tal and ana­logue cir­cuits for mass mem­o­ry units, on board com­put­ers and instru­ment con­trol units
  • (EEE) com­po­nent selec­tion for dif­fer­ent mod­els
  • Require­ment engi­neer­ing and close co-work­man­ship with the sys­tems engi­neer­ing
  • Prepa­ra­tion of detailed block dia­grams, schemat­ic entry using Altium Design­er
  • Prepa­ra­tion of analy­sis doc­u­ments, e.g. WCA, der­at­ing, reli­a­bil­i­ty and pow­er
  • Per­form sim­u­la­tions for cir­cuit parts using tools such as PSpice, LT Spice or Math­Cad
  • Sup­port pro­to­typ­ing, bring-up and com­mis­sion­ing of devel­oped cir­cuits
  • Devel­op­ment and doc­u­men­ta­tion of elec­tri­cal test pro­ce­dures (Spec­i­fi­ca­tion and exe­cu­tion of elec­tri­cal and option­al envi­ron­men­tal test pro­ce­dures)
  • Con­tri­bu­tions to design reviews and pro­vide sup­port for par­al­lel project activ­i­ties
