What do we expect from you?
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a comparable education
- Ideally more than 3 years of professional experience in the field of circuit design, analysis and commissioning, preferably in the aerospace sector
- Very good experience in the field of circuit design, preparation of analyses and troubleshooting
- As a plus: taking into account ECSS or other standards and usage of Altium Designer and Spice tools
- Experience with and comfortable in handling electronic test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscope
- Initiative, enthusiasm and the ability to work in a team and on large projects
- A structured, independent and responsible approach to work and a high level of quality awareness
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably also in German
What are your responsibilities?
- Participation in exciting, national and international research activities developing space technologies beyond the state-of-the-art
- Development of digital and analogue circuits for space electronics with focus on high-speed digital interfaces.
- Schematic design and PCB layout using Altium Designer with up to 20 layers HDI designs
- (EEE) component selection for different models e.g. EM/EQM/FM
- Perform simulations for circuit parts using tools such as Spice
- Preparation of analysis documents, e.g. worst case analysis, derating, reliability and power
- Requirement engineering and close co-workmanship with the systems engineering
- Supporting/preparing of external manufacturing processes (PCB manufacturing and board assembly)
- Initial operation and commissioning of developed circuits
- Specification and execution of electrical and optional environmental test procedures
- Possibility to attend conferences or workshops to discuss the latest innovations with other technical experts and to present achievements
